Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to the United States on Saturday, a senior Israeli official said on Wednesday.

Israel’s prime minister wants to meet Donald Trump, but it is not clear if he will, the official told Reuters.

Israel has been part of two fronts in the latest conflict in the Middle East: one with the US against Iran, and another against Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Mr Netanyahu will also attend Lindsey Graham’s memorial service, The Jerusalem Post reported.
