Source - The Daily Express
A state of emergency has been declared in Latvia in three areas along the border with Russia due to an influx of people trying to flee partial-mobilisation.
Latvia will now be able to increase operations on the border.
The interior ministry said they were monitoring the situation, which could change "rapidly".
The emergency order will be in force in Aluksne, Balvi and Ludza, and at all border crossing points in ports, airports, airfields and railways.
