26,000 troops guarded the nation’s capital for Joe Biden’s swearing in.
Democrats claimed it was necessary to prevent “right wing extremist” attacks.
But Tucker Carlson revealed the real reason Joe Biden wanted the military at the inauguration.
The size of the military force deployed to the Capitol for Joe Biden’s inauguration was unheard of.
Tucker Carlson pointed out that the military presence in the Capitol was greater than the current deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan combined and also greater than the federal presence in Washington, D.C. in 1968 to protect against the riots that broke out following Martin Luther King, Jr’s assassination.
“No living American has seen a moment like the one we’re watching now; 26,000 soldiers, that’s more than five times the number of American military personnel currently stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. That is more than twice the number of troops that President Lyndon Johnson ordered to Washington in April of 1968,” Carlson began.
But Carlson pointed out that the troops in the Capitol were not there to provide security.
All the supposed right-wing terror plots the media hyped up never materialized.
Instead, Carlson explained to his viewers that Democrats wanted the sight of thousands of troops on the Capitol streets to send the signal that the highest ranks of military leadership was backing them up and any protest of Joe Biden’s agenda would be put down by force.
“So no matter what they are telling you, those 26,000 Federal troops are not there for your safety. Instead, unmistakably, the Democratic Party is using those troops to send the rest of us a message about power: ‘We’re in charge now.’ We run this nation from Honolulu to our colony in the Caribbean, and everything in between very much, including where you and your family live. Do not question us. Men with guns enforce our decrees, we control the Pentagon,” Carlson added.
